Personal Projects
Animated Shorts
In Spring of 2022, I took a class on animated media, which covered a history of animation production & technique. Course assignments asked we apply these skills in our own original animations.

For the final project, I teamed up with my class friends, Maryam Ghanem & Julia Howell, to take our project to the next level. Together, we developed, wrote, illustrated, animated, & recorded audio to produce a pilot episode for our original show: Stardust.

Together, we brainstormed lore, characters, setting, & plot. In the production stage, we had a more specified approach to task delegation. Julia managed script-writing & would act as narrator, I served as visual lead, & Maryam unified our deliverables through video editing, sound, & effects.

TikTok Fan-imations
I love animation––cartoons & fan-imations alike. If you aren't familiar with this genre, fan-imations are animated shorts, based on an existing show/graphic novel, made by fans. After finishing My Hero Academia this past summer, I tried my hand at fan-imation. It was sucessful. Like, really successful. My first ever Tiktok broke 185k views and 45k likes.

I continued to make animations up until the school year started. If you haven't seen My Hero Academia, I can't guarantee you will understand what's going on. That said, my videos resonated with the Tiktok fanbase. Feel free to check out my account here
Replicating Style
My ability to emulate and colormatch other art styles comes from years of mimicing the styles of the characters and media I love. I remember lying on the floor as a kid, surrounded by my Pokémon cards trying to make posters of my favorites.
The more I drew, the more trained my eyes became. As an adult, I still love recreating the art that speaks to me. Below is a comparison between a screenshot from Steven Universe versus my freehand drawing.

This Website!
I designed this website on Github Pages using HTML and CSS. Certain site elements are repurposed from Bootstrap and HTML5 Up. I used Visual Studio Code as my coding editor. All images and videos featured on GraphicKat show my work or me (unless started otherwise)!
